Green Tea Extract...Claims to boost the metabolism and suppress the appetite. Facts...Very little evidence to support these claims. Can cause GI problems and may contain high amounts of caffeine.

Hoodia...Claims to decrease appetite. Facts...once again there are no facts to backup this claim.

In conclusion although most of the popular weight-loss supplements on the market are relatively safe they for the most part are also relatively ineffective as to their claims of weight loss.

Another point to keep in mind is just because something doesn't need a prescription to be purchased doesn't mean that it is safe for you. You should always run these products by your doctor before you begin taking them.
